Standard Feature: Class F
Insulation System
Every JWMotor is equipped with Class F Insulation as standard, ensuring a 155°C thermal rating.
This guarantees a critical safety margin and robust reliability for all industrial applications.
Key Benefits
Designed for Class B temperature rise limits to prevent overheating during heavy loads.
High-grade DMD polyester laminates provide superior protection against abrasion and tearing.
The stable insulation structure ensures long-term performance in harsh environments.
Supplier
We partner with China’s top specialized manufacturers for high-performance insulating materials. This reliable Class F insulation features superior dielectric strength and thermal stability optimized for protecting motor windings in harsh environments.
See What Goes Into Your Motor
01
What does "Class F Insulation with Class B Rise" mean for motor life?
It means we build the motor with materials rated for 155°C (Class F) but design it to run cooler, maxing out at 130°C (Class B). This creates a 25°C “Thermal Reserve.” Since insulation life doubles for every 10°C drop in temperature, this design can theoretically extend winding life by 4x compared to standard motors.
02
Why do you use DMD laminates for slot insulation?
We use DMD (Dacron-Mylar-Dacron) composite. The inner Mylar layer provides high dielectric strength to stop voltage breakdown, while the outer Dacron fleece layers absorb varnish and prevent mechanical tearing. This tri-layer protection ensures the winding is mechanically secure and electrically isolated.
03
Is the insulation system protected against voltage spikes?
Yes. Variable Frequency Drives can cause voltage surges. Our Class F insulation system is fully vacuum-impregnated (VPI) to eliminate air voids, providing a solid barrier against corona discharge and partial discharge, ensuring compatibility with modern inverter-driven systems.
